The Golf Course...
The Links of Sandpiper golf course is a par 72 course offering 4 sets of tees ranging from the blue tees over 6,000 yards to the forward gold tees at 5,000 yards. The golf course is a Links style course with rolling terrain, setting up some blind shots and doglegs. The undulating greens are protected by bunkers and the fairways are lined with oaks and pines. Water can come into play with an errant shot on most of the back nine holes.
While both challenging and fair, The Links of Sandpiper golf course is definitely user friendly and allows players the chance to use every club in their bag. From par 3’s that start at 120 yards from the back tees and stretch to 215, it allows for all shot types. The par 4’s offer a variety of challenges from short with small greens to long with larger greens. The golf course allows players to test every part of their game, and while the par 5’s are definitely birdie opportunities, you can’t take them too lightly. From out of bounds just off of the green to water strategically placed, you could walk away with a large number if you’re not careful.
Good for twelve (12) months from date of purchase
The Links of Sandpiper Membership
The Links of Sandpiper is currently offering annual memberships to new and current members. Existing members can purchase a new membership in advance of the expiration of current membership to lock in current rates. New memberships for current members will not start until current membership expires.
PLEASE NOTE: Membership rates will increase September 2018 after course renovations are complete.
Course renovations will start by the end of April with new greens and collars on holes 10 thru 13, hole 11 will be relocated slightly and hole 11 will be converted to a par 4 – these will be sodded. These four holes will be closed for about 4 to 5 weeks while these renovations take place, the front 9 will remain open during these renovations, from hole 10 you will proceed to hole 14 and play 14 thru 18, you will then play hole 1 again, hole 2 from the par 3 tees, hole 3 and then hole 4 (directions will be posted in the pro shop and we will make some temporary score cards). Once the new greens and collars are established (approximately the end of May to early June) a new irrigation system will be installed and the entire front nine will be closed for renovations, duration of renovation and grow in will be 3 to 4 months. New irrigation will be installed on holes 10 through 13 during this time, but the holes will remain open for play while that is being completed (perhaps 3 or so days per hole)
