New Sandpiper Home Sites
The Links of Sandpiper is a 55 and over retirement community located in Lakeland, Florida. The new home sites and homes are still in the planning and permitting stages with the (5) five lots along Meadowlark Drive anticipated to be available for purchase later this year with home construction beginning soon thereafter. Due to the initial interest already expressed we will most likely have some sort of lottery or drawing for these lots to be fair to all. The balance of the home sites to the south of Sandpipers Club Boulevard will become available in the summer of 2019 with construction starting as lots are purchase. The example home on this website will be an approximate layout which has yet to be finalized and there will be a total of (4) four to (6) six layouts available and possibly a (3) three bedroom option. The intent is for these new homes to be incorporated into the existing POA.
Once you select a lot by number you will be notified where you are on the waiting list in terms of others who may have selected the same lot prior to you, it is recommended you select 3 lots and you will be notified of your position for each, but you can only be first in line for one lot. If you are not first on the list for a particular lot, you may stay on the list for that lot and select others as your next choice. Once we get closer to actual lots sales and deposits are requested, if someone decides to not proceed on a particular lot, you will move up the priority list accordingly. There is also a comments section – comments and input on home layout, number of bedrooms desired, finishes, etc.
Homes will have similar exterior appearance to existing homes in Sandpiper, it is anticipated these homes will become part of the existing POA and all rules and obligations associated with the Sandpiper POA will apply.
*NOTICE*The red numbers on the lot sheet represent the number of times a lot has been requested. Lots 39 and 40 will have a pavilion and small parking area behind their home site. See diagram.

Home prices including lot, impact and permits fees and all other items listed above are anticipated to range between $ 205,000.00 and $ 230,000.00. These are preliminary estimates and may vary up or down depending upon infrastructure cost, engineering and final model layouts. Again, this is only a waiting list to pre-select home sites.
